Brief
Design and code a responsive webpage for the Elektrik Eel Festival that showcases the lineup and event details in a visually dynamic, mobile-optimised format. The site needed to adapt fluidly across screen sizes while maintaining brand identity and user-friendly navigation.
Creative Direction
The design draws on bold, high-contrast visuals with angular arrow motifs to reflect the energy of the festival’s electronic music identity. Responsiveness was central: the lineup shifts from a two-column desktop grid to a stacked mobile format, while oversized decorative elements are hidden on smaller screens to prioritise legibility. A custom jQuery hamburger menu streamlines navigation on mobile, and form elements were styled to align with the festival’s branding. This approach merges bold design with user-centred functionality, extending the brand experience into an interactive, accessible digital space.
